First Blood

It was a REALLY bad day!

Want me to tell you about it?

You see, I took a header off Nana's porch today to get a closer look at the flowers.
I did a flip into the flower bed.
Nana picked me up and dusted me off.
I stopped crying right away.
It wasn't until later, when Mommy got there, that they took a closer look.
Do you want to know what they saw?
Well, do you?

They saw blood!
And a goose-egg!

This is my first real, honest-to-goodness,
big boy boo-boo!
....and I didn't even get a band-aid.
